Planning a Wren kitchen with 0% finance and your own fitter? Understand the design, supply, finance and installation steps before placing the order.

If you are considering a Wren kitchen, you may want the showroom design service and the option of 0% finance while still choosing an independent kitchen fitter. Those decisions can sit together, but the responsibilities need to be clear before the order is placed.

Wren currently advertises interest-free credit on eligible kitchens. It also offers a supply-only route, where the customer arranges installation privately with their chosen fitter. Do you still receive the Wren design service?

Wren currently promotes several planning options, including a home-measure appointment, showroom design appointment, home design appointment and online design appointment. Its published appointment information includes detailed measurement, 2D and 3D plans and showroom design support.

Using an independent installer does not mean guessing the layout or losing the showroom planning stage. The sensible route is to complete the design process, obtain the full plan and quotation, and then have the installation implications reviewed before ordering.

The showroom controls the design appointment, survey availability, product advice and final Wren quotation. Confirm the exact service and current terms directly with Wren.

How does Wren's 0% finance work?

Wren currently advertises interest-free credit on eligible kitchens, with terms of up to seven years on selected ranges. The available term varies according to the kitchen range, order value and deposit.

Finance is subject to status and Wren's current eligibility rules. Wren states that age, UK residency, minimum-spend and deposit conditions apply. Wren Kitchens Limited acts as the credit broker and offers products from a panel of lenders.

TLS Kitchens does not provide, arrange, recommend or approve finance. Any application and finance agreement must be handled directly with Wren. Check the current Wren finance terms before making a decision because products and conditions can change.

Can you use your own fitter with a Wren kitchen?

Yes. Wren's published supply-only information says that the kitchen, appliances and accessories can be purchased while installation is arranged privately with the customer's chosen installer.

This gives the homeowner control over who fits the kitchen and who manages the associated work. It also means the installation scope needs to be agreed directly with that fitter. Removal, plumbing, gas, electrics, plastering, tiling, flooring and worktops should not be assumed to be included unless they appear in the written fitting quote.

Where does the TLS Kitchens trade route fit?

The customer first develops the kitchen or bedroom with the Wren showroom. Before placing the order, they send TLS Kitchens:

• the latest design plan
• the complete item list
• the current showroom quotation
• the delivery postcode
• details of whether fitting is required

TLS Kitchens then checks whether the order is eligible for its registered trade route and confirms the customer supply position in writing. Prices, availability and delivery are not assumed until that project-specific confirmation has been completed.

Your Wren finance conversation remains directly between you and Wren. TLS Kitchens' role is independent supply coordination and, where suitable, a separate installation quotation.

Why should the fitter check the design before ordering?

A showroom plan can be well developed and still need checking against the physical room and the proposed installation. Real kitchens have uneven floors, walls that run out of square, existing pipework, fixed boilers, sockets, extractor routes and worktop constraints.

Before the order is final, an installer should consider:

• whether appliance clearances work in the real room
• whether fillers and end panels allow for uneven walls
• whether plumbing, gas and electrical points need moving
• how the extractor will be routed
• whether flooring runs before or after the cabinets
• whether quartz or granite requires a separate template and return visit
• whether every required trim, panel and accessory is on the item list

This is not a replacement for Wren's design service. It is an installation check intended to catch practical site issues before delivery.

What happens with kitchens outside the Midlands?

TLS Kitchens can review eligible Wren kitchen and bedroom supply enquiries from across the UK. Nationwide supply consideration does not mean nationwide fitting is automatically available.

1. Book the appropriate Wren measure or design appointment. 2. Develop the kitchen or bedroom design with the showroom. 3. Ask Wren to explain the current finance options and eligibility conditions. 4. Obtain the plan, visuals, item list and quotation. 5. Send the complete pack to TLS Kitchens before ordering. 6. Receive written confirmation of the eligible supply route. 7. Arrange a site review and separate fitting quotation where applicable. 8. Commit only when supply, finance, delivery and installation responsibilities are clear.
